What Design Engineer means to me

I design not only interfaces, but also how teams build them — through design systems, code, and automation.

Systems

I develop the Yandex HR Tech design system: components, tokens, documentation, and code. Previously I worked on design systems at Sber and products at Otkritie Broker and MTS.

Tools

I build infrastructure for AI‑native design systems: ds‑context prepares context, ui‑repair repairs code, ds‑eval measures whether the agent follows the system, prompt‑regress compares prompt versions.

AI and code

I design in Figma, write code, and build tools that help agents read a design system, assemble an interface from it, and check that they did not invent their own.

Process

For me, Design Engineering means working across the full process: from an idea and interface to specification, implementation, and team tooling.
